Late Singer Sidhu Moosewala’s Parents Welcome a Little Boy

The parents of the late internationally well-known musician-singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu well-known as ‘Sidhu ‘ on Sunday welcomed a new boy nearly two years since the 28-year-old was killed in the Punjab’s Mansa district.

Sidhu’s dad Balkaur Singh posted the news on his Facebook page declaring that he and his wife Charan Kaur were gifted with Sidhu’s son. “With the blessings of lakhs and crores of people who love Shubhdeep, the Almighty has blessed us with Shubh’s little brother,” Balkaur Singh wrote in Punjabi. “The family is healthy and I am grateful for the immense love of all well wishers.”

In the posting, Singh posted a picture showing him holding his infant as well as a welcome cake and Sidhu’s picture as the backdrop. In the Instagram account, Singh posed with the medical staff at the hospital in which they gave birth to the infant.

According to reports, Singh (around 60) and Charan Kaur (58) chose to go with the IVF method. There was a previous report of Sidhu’s parents expecting a baby however, Singh was known to have asked fans not to believe in reports.

“We are grateful to Sidhu’s fans who are so worried about our family. There is a lot of speculation going on about my family. I request you not to believe all these rumours. Whatever news there is, the family will share it with all of you,” the actor had stated in a tweet on social media.

Sidhu, who was active mainly in Punjabi music was killed by unknown assailants from the Punjab’s Mansa district on May 29th, 2022. The singer was unsuccessfully running for elections for the Punjab Assembly elections that year using the Congress ticket in Mansa. A gangster from Canada who was active throughout Punjab later claimed the responsibility for the murder and the police linked it to gang rivalry.

While he may have been controversial, as accomplished, Sidhu is generally regarded as one of the most renowned Punjabi performers of his generation and, to many, among the top of the past.
